Nikon D7100 Score: 80

The Sony Alpha A6000 edges out in the overall score, but this doesn’t mean that it’s a better camera for you.  In a nutshell, the Sony digital camera is a more versatile and easier to use, so would suit novice or amateur photographers who want a capable camera that represents good value for money and is relatively quick and easy to use.

The Nikon D7100 requires a little more effort to learn and use but in the right hands, produces beautiful photos and would probably be the choice in this face-off for most amateur and even some professional photographers.
