- The aluminium body of the phone is prone to denting and scratching if dropped, put in a pocket with metal coins or keys, or handled roughly. We therefore recommend you invest in a case and screen protector (see accessories)
- The back of the phone is non-removable which means that you can’t expand the storage, can’t replace the battery and repairs are more difficult and expensive than on most other phones, especially without specialist tools

- The HTC One is a high-end phone and the price reflects that. The advantage of buying a high end phone such as this is that it is more future-proof i.e. has the spec to handle OS upgrades and more resource intensive apps in the future
