Positives

Beautiful and unique design, extremely portable for a desktop computer, very powerful, easily expandable over Thunderbolt ports, whisper quiet.

Negatives

Expensive, internal expandability is quite limited.

Bottom Line

With the late 2013 Mac Pro, Apple completely reinvented the professional desktop computer. New Mac Pro is a very portable, yet a very powerful machine. Certain people might not like the limited internal expandability and a big price tag, but keep in mind that this computer is not for everyone. Audio and video professionals, as well as other power users are Apple’s target market for this computer, and they will certainly appreciate the powerful hardware components and huge external expandability via Thunderbolt ( a total of 36 devices can be connected to this Mac Pro).
